When I chose to do the Erasmus internship at Tamjdem organization I was enchanted by the idea of combining office work with the chance to involve in workcamps and other outdoors activities and meet new people in the work context. Also, I was interested in the idea of getting some practical ideas of how an NGO works, as well as taking part in various activities organized by Tamjdem. Furthermore, I chose to be intern in Tamjdem in order to get a further insight into the activities and the experiences of the volunteers, as well as in order to get a certain perspective towards opening my own NGO in the future. I was positively surprised to find a dynamic team which manages to combine the undertaking of important tasks with keeping a friendly and familiar environment.
I am looking forward to taking part in the range of activities that will be held during the next three months. My vision for the future is to learn as much as possible from other cultures, while, at a certain time in the future, use the examples and practices learnt abroad in my own community and, in a broader sense, my country.
