Weekend in the Iron Age
24. - 26.5.2019
On the last weekend of May, we headed to the Celtic Open Air Museum in Nasavrky.
A wonderful group of people – Tereza, Elis, Linda, Jacek, Jakub, Pavel, Matej and Robby, together with the open-air museum workers dismantled and built a sheep’s enclosure and a shelter. Morover, we sown the garden, prepared rods for the fence, burnt the wooden stakes and cleaned the defense wall from weeds. Altogether, we have done wonderful 88 hours of volunteer work! We also tried to build a Celtic fence and did a tour around the open-air museum with a local chief. We spent a pleasant Saturday evening around the campfire with great food and long talks about everything.
We would like to thank all the volunteers for their amazing approach, enthusiasm and NGO for their support and a good mood. We look forward to seeing you next time!
